Parking on pavement, on speed restriction, 21st July
For some time there have been various cars parked here on this stretch of pavement heading into the play area. Not only does it make Staleys Acre difficult to access for large delivery vehicles, but we have witnessed a few near misses with children not able to see oncoming traffic etc. It is also right next next to a public footpath that crosses over the road at this point.

Temporary safety barrier in place in the central reservation, 6th December
The central reserve gate structure in the central reservation appears to have been struck at some point and another safety barrier has been placed in front of it. This safety barrier has been in place for at least a month now and there is no sign of a permanent repair being instigated.

Thong Lane flooded, 5th February
Due to ALL road drains being blocked by soil and a constant fresh water leak pouring into Thong Lane, water lies across the whole of the road causing water splashing every time a vehicle travels up or down Thong Lane. Both water leak needs stopping and drains need clearing as all are blocked. One drain was unblocked about 3 weeks ago which temporarily stopped the flood but did not stop the water leak which is constant. That drain is blocked again now allowing water to flood the road.

Illegal car vans parking on every day basis, 16th January
We have sometimes up to twenty cars/vans and some heavy load vehicles parking on a daily basis illegally outside of our property doors, causing an obstruction to incoming traffic in both directions. The public road is used daily by a large commercial vehicles like trucks, lorries and trailers, with a maximum loaded weight up to 20 tonnes or more. That road is narrow and sometimes large vehicles cannot get through.
Time to time some cars are left there for quite a few hours, blocking a pedestrian access to the public path ( which is approximately 1m wide ) and our entrance to the property which create a danger for others.
We are not always feeling safe.

Extensive, hazardous gravel in carriageway, 27th July
Long Mill Lane south of Crouch. Extensive, hazardous gravel has washed onto carriageway from track (Footpath MR323). The gravel is several inches thick and a significant skid hazard particularly for vulnerable road users as it's on a hill.

Dumped bin, 14th July
This bin has been dumped for over a week on the pavement on Crouch Lane (between Black Horse Mews and Tillmans). It doesn’t have a lid, which is probably the reason why it has been dumped there. It is being partially obscured by a hedge. Please can it be removed? Thanks.
