Blocked drains and gulleys, 17th December
Several drains and gulleys are blocked / semi blocked with leaves and assorted debris along the section from Chipstead to Morley’s roundabout ( Hildenborough intersection). This causes large puddles on nearside lane and more water drains alon and across the carriageway in heavy rain. This is a contributory factor re causing aqua planning . This has been an issue since the autumn. I consider it highly negligent that this hasn’t been dealt with as a matter of standard seasonal necessity . .

A21 from morleys cafe to sundridge turning, 24th August
Loads of the drains on this stretch of the A21 the drains are bloked with rubbish grass sticks and the water does not drain away but stays on the carriageway and when I go the other way the same issue Morley cafe junction all the way to the matfield roundabout. The hole stretch of A21 needs the drains and gutters cleaned some are totally block with grass which is growing. As you probably know they are alot of accidents on the A21 and blocked drains won't be helping

Carriage way dangerously flooded, 13th April
Due to blocked gulleys both nothbound and southbound on this section of the A21 the carriageway is dangerously and repeatedly flooded. The location is approximate as I was driving and my car aquaplaned due to the flooding.

Street cleaning of littler B2042 from Bough Beach to Riverhead Kent, 18th February
Please arrange cleaning of accumulated littler, paper, cans, food waster along this lovely B2042 country road. Drove along today and sad to see scenic B Roads containing litter !

Pothole between lanes just before righthand bend on hill heading southbound on A21, 23rd December
Very large pothole between the two lanes, about 50-100m before the bend turning right when heading up Sevenoaks hill when driving southbound on A21. I hit this pothole when changing lanes on Sat 17th Dec which caused my left front tyre to puncture resulting in hundreds of £ in damage. I understand I am able to claim compensation for this. Please let me know how I can make this claim.

Major surface water running across dual carriageway., 7th November
My report concerns surface water on the A 21 approximately 2miles south of the Junction of the A21 and A25 in the direction of Tonbridge. After heavy rain this is a major problem and could cause a vehicle to aqua plane resulting in injury to occupants of the vehicle. This surface water has been flooding the road for a long time and it seems pretty obvious that the drainage system is inadequate I shall be pleased if you will investigate. Lack of signage re weekend closures., 28th September
Sorry, but your response is hopeless. Even if you are unaware of exactly when you are making closures, and I accept they are sometimes prone to amendments at the last moment, you might just have the COURTESY to advise the likelihood of weekend closures by suitable roadside signage in advance and suggest A21 users consult your website for full details. Do you think we are all clairvoyant or something! This is the main trunk route to Hastings and the coast you know! It shouldn't just be closed without proper advance notice. Zero out of 10 for common sense!

A21 closed southbound, 25th September
Why have you effectively closed the A21 southbound today on the Sevenoaks bypass without any advance warning through the weeks before? Why does your signage today not start until you are actually locked in to the section before the closure leaving the motorist with no way out. Waste of my time, money and petrol, or were you completely unable to anticipate this problem, ie at least 1 mile tailback on A21 and gridlock through Hildenborough! I await your response with interest!

Gracious lane Bridge, 24th June
I regularly have to deliver pharmaceutical products from Sevenoaks to Ide hill the temporary traffic lights over gracious lane are often out of order if so meeting another vehicle on the bridge half way in a single lane and reversing is not a safe option , when is this bridge going to be back to normal? ? Temporary Three Way Traffic Light Not Working, 22nd June
The temporary three way traffic lights controlling traffic over the bridge are not working. They appear to be intermittently switching themselves off. This happened yesterday but I thought it had been rectified but they were out again this morning. It is very dangerous as there is no clear view over the bridge so people do not know when to go and if they do and meet another car they have to reverse a considerable distance into traffic.
