Deep pothole just past tea rooms and lay-by going from high street towards Tonbridge, 4th March
Burst my front passenger side tyre on impact. A number of cars swerving to try and miss it. Depth with all the rain is misleading and lots of lumps of tarmac , some sharp lying around the area. On penshurst road - just past the tea rooms and lay-by with penshurst place to your right .

Large mature Beech tree with large rot cavity at approx 6m above ground level, roadside position Grove Road, 26th January
This is a mature Beech tree with signs of storm damage from some years ago. There is a large cavity about 6 metres above the ground that has degraded fungal fruiting bodies of Ceriporus squamosus (Dryads Saddle). This tree is on the bank adjacent to the road and probably need an inspection to assess the integrity of the timber at this point. The What3words location is usage.overlook.spearhead (this may be slightly out as I’ve identified the location from the satellite image on the app, not on the ground)

Very large deep pothole between Saints Hill and TN11 8EJ, 20th December
Very dangerous. This pothole has been here for at least a week. Don't know if it has been reported. Very dangerous as on the bend and you have to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid it at very short notice. Very dangerous especially as traffic drives quickly along this piece of road and visibility on bend is not good.
