A farmer has been cutting hedges this weekend 2/3 rd March 2024 and it is an offence to be doing so from the 1st of march ( it states this on the DEFRA website), 4th March
The said farmer should not be cutting the hedges this time of year - it is an offence due to do so due to nesting birds and other wildlife.

There are three potholes on this section of road between the Red Sheds and the village of Cheswardine, 28th February
They were reported more than a month ago and have still not been repaired. By comparison, a pothole reported near The Villas, at Chipnall, was repaired within a few days

Gulley is inadequate to cope with the volume of water on the highway, 23rd February
The gulley cannot cope with the volume of water flowing down the highway and the water floods onto the Wharf Caravan park. If this gulley was enlarged or altered all the water would flow into the brook under the road and the flooding would stop. A straightforward solution that would stop costly damage to the caravan park, please can you contact me as soon as possible at the Wharf.

Two Sharp Potholes - hidden under water, 23rd February
I know this has already been reported but since the heavy rain these potholes are completely submerged but they are particularly sharp even at low speeds.

Flooding on road, 22nd February
There is deep flooding on this lane today (February 22nd). It last flooded in January and the drains were cleared after that but have obviously clogged up again.

There has been deep flood water on the main road between Cheswardine and Soudley since first thing on Sunday 18th Feb. The drains there were unblocked recently after previous flooding in January but have obviously clogged up again.

Blocked drain near Oak Tree Cottages, 21st February
Ongoing issue with insufficient drainage. The drain that is there fills up rapidly with sludge and slurry running down the old access route to Cheswardine Hall. Was told years ago more drainage would be installed, this has still not happened

Loads of potholes - in need of repair, 15th February
Customer called to request that the many potholes alone this road be fixed. Customer mentioned that she had damaged her car and it got much worse since then. You can only drive 5 miles per hour and cyclist are in danger even attempting the road.
