Road edge (Northside) at field entrance seriously eroded., 26th September
At a field entrance the edge of the road is being eroded creating a dangerous deep pothole. The road has many large lorries on it and it is narrow forcing cars towards the nearside. This hole is being eroded further into the carriageway.

Sinking drain cover, 26th September
Nearside eastbound drain cover seems to be getting more recessed. This part of the road is narrowing with large lorries forcing cars to the very nearside and hitting this drain at speed.

Large deep and sharp pothole has opened up in the road, noticed it on 2 January 2023. The nature and size of the pothole and the type of road makes this a 24 hour or 5 day fix, after this time the local authority will be responsible for any damage caused to vehicles.

On the south side at this location is a (OpenReach?) inspection hole with a cover. The surround now protrudes into the road from the verge and it has sharp edges which will easily cause a puncture. The verge is eroded as farm vehicles and large lorries pass on this B road.

Flooding travel hazard, 22nd January
We moved into a property off River Lane 2 months ago. The road leading onto the a442 constantly floods, making it hard to drive a standard car through. It also smells like sewage so is extremely unhygienic and I imagine a health hazard. When it freezes it creates a really dangerous situation at the junction to the a442 as there is a considerable slope; I nearly had a collision as my car could not get a grip on the road. This needs to be sorted as a priority as apparently it’s been ongoing, and is not acceptable!

2 large and deep potholes near a dangerous sharp corner., 20th January
The potholes are on the left hand side driving towards the A442. They are large and deep and are located just before an almost 90 degree corner which does not allow to monitor oncoming traffic. Should there be oncoming traffic, anyone driving on the road would have to swerve dangerously into the road which could result in a collision, in particular as there are two potholes present.

Road and highway gully sinking, 30th October
A442 Crudgington The road and the highway gully is sinking, It is situated just outside the school and our property. With the increasing amount of HGV's and the speed that they travel along this road, especially at night, the vibration as they hit this part of the road shakes our house which has caused cracks in the walls and plaster, and the mortar around the windows to fall out.
