Very large and deep pothole, 7th March

Thu, 07 Mar 2024 20:04:35 +0000
52.716401 -2.611061

There are actually a string of three potholes here, both in line with normal driving position, and due to the nature of the road here they are very difficult to avoid, and impossible to avoid if two cars are passing. They are severe enough that they are likely to cause damage to any vehicles unable to see them, and since these roads often flood, the potholes are often hidden from view completely.

Road margins 4-5 inch drop from edge of tarmac, 19th November

Sun, 19 Nov 2023 11:31:49 +0000
52.718303 -2.617067

The lane between Walcot and Rodington Heath is just about wide enough for two small cars to pass on the Tarmac, anything bigger like 4x4s, horse boxes, the local bus or the massive agricultural vehicles you have to put one wheel off the tarmac. The margins are worn/washed away such there are numerous dangerous drops off the edge of the tarmac or deep puddles with pot holes in them. Already had to replace one coil spring on the car and sustained a bad scrape to the underside front spoiler. The road needs widening or proper passing places installed & the surface water drainage upgraded.
