Large pothole in the driving lane of Watling Street (A5) when travelling in an easterly direction., 11th April
This pothole has been here for approximately three months. It is located on the A5 approximately 100 metres from the A41 roundabout heading in an easterly direction ( towards Weston park ) in between the ‘welcome to Shropshire’ and ‘welcome to Staffordshire’ signs . So it’s in No man’s land between the signs. Staffordshire CC have told me it’s not their responsibility, so over to you my friends.

Over the last week persons unknown have depositied a fridge and a sofa chair onto the roadside on Marsh Road, 4th February
Flytipping offence. Apologies but I can only say both were deposited overnight. The sofa was possibly last weekend and the fridge would likely have been Thursday night. The location is very rural and the road is not used much so there is a high likelihood they are taking advantage of this, in addition to the adjoining lane recently being blocked off with a large piece of concrete.
