Poor road markings and dim cats eyes, 29th December
The whole stretch of the A41 Chester Road from Newport to Tern Hill is horrendous to drive down at night. The road markings have faded and the cats eyes are almost invisible making driving almost blind on the whole stretch of road. Most traffic cannot go over 40mph in the dark as you cannot see the road. Lack of white markings on the left side of the road also make it difficult for drivers to see the kerb side. There are many accidents on this road and I do think it is mostly due to faded road markings, no kerb markings and lack of or dim cats eyes

Weak bridge, 21st June
Weak bridge sign (10T mgw) was damaged and removed.Since then large multi-axle articulated lorries >40T have been trafficking the bridge. The council has already had to make repairs twice. The sign needs replacing. Also a width restriction sign would help as a combine harvester recently got itself wedged between to two brick sides with a risk of collapse as it reversed its way out.
