Ponding issue, 12th March
Drainage issues still present on footpath between school and post office. Footpath used by school children. Path currently has puddles but becomes unpassable in heavy rain. Current puddles are forcing children to walk against the fence which has sharp edges - one child ripped his coat this morning on a sharp edge on the fence.

Thick, slippery muck all over road from muck spreading., 20th January
The Lane has become dangerous to drive down over the last couple of days but it’s the worst this evening. Myself and others drive down twice a day as we have our horses there. Our cars are sliding around and could end up in the ditch. The muck is so thick from the railway bridge onwards and our cars are covered. There are usually dog walkers and cyclists and it’s unsafe for them too.

Pothole in road damaging Rhine Culvert, 2nd January
Deep depression in road surface immediately above Pitland Rhyne culvert/drain at Montgomery Fields junction causing road failure and causing houses adjacent to shake when any large vehicle passes (e.g. bus). This results in very noticeable shaking of houses and has resulted in internal plaster cracks. Last reported on 6 September but no reply from council and the depression in the road is getting worse. Someone sprayed the area with markings but no work undertaken and these marking have now disappeared.

Lifted manhole cover, 5th December
Manhole cover / inspection hatch in middle of road has come loose and has lifted off. As it is in the middle of the road traffic is continually driving over it and the cover is moving about with danger to vehicles and pedestrians. As it is in the middle of the road I cannot get close to photograph it or try to fix it myself.

Flooded path, 4th December
The path between the entrance of St Andrew's School and Quantock Close was flooded all day with over 2 inches of water. I had to carry my child along the path so his feet did not get wet before and after School
