Flytipping and trashing the countryside water ways, 17th April
There are probably another 50 photographs I have of litter and Flytipping along these farmers channels where as you can see wildlife live. This is along the road from Taunton road to High Ham, I must add this is only 1.5 miles, there is another three miles. Why is it that the council never pick up there signs they jus leave them, shocking!!!!!!!!!! When are people going to stop, I walk this 1.2 miles every day and dear god what a mess, there is a swans nest here as well with three eggs, it is breaking my heart. This road is used a a cut through road from Langport to the Taunton Road. Action needs to be taken. Regards Felicity Bowring

Not sure of origin, can hardly be other than deliberate. While Nythe Road in general is litter ridden, this junction in particular has a lot of litter as if someone has cleaned out their car or dumped recycling.

Ridgeway lane Greinton requires road sweeping, 12th November
Green vegetation starting to grow in the middle of Rideway labe.. Please send a mechanical sweeper to clear this as it is a hazard for cyclists. There is quite a bit of gravel in the centre of the lane as well in places. I don’t think it’s been swept for a considerable while?

Flytipping by roadside - into watercourse, 22nd December
A builders bag containing what look like chemical containers (in blue plastic) has been dumped by the side of Nythe Road, near where the line of pylons crosses over. There are also gas bottles. A number of the bottles and containers have fallen into the rhyne by the side of the road, some of them are about 15 metres South of the main tip. Must be a pollution risk - depending what was in the containers.

Large amount of oil on road causing dangerous slippery surface, 17th December
This morning outside Pedwell Villa which is 1, Pedwell Hill TA7 9BD, I noticed a large amount of oil outside my front gate..about 4 cars in length. It is dangerous causing a slippery surface particularly with the wet weather..I had it on my shoes and my foot slipped off the accelerator pedal while driving

Two serious pot holes, 28th May
Butleigh Drove has been patched well but right at the end are two serious potholes. Just before it joins Nythe Road. Very deep!
