Blocked drain under access to field., 1st January
Blocked drain under the ground under the access to field entrance. This is backing up and meeting with the other blocked drain in the lane. Causing water on lane further down. Danger if it freezes. Winter is coming. Please clear this, thank you.

There is a blocked drain which is overflowing onto the road. Causing excess water on the road which could freeze! It is about an inch of running water.

Death trap hole, 7th January
This has been reported and so called fixed before. There is a hole about 8 feet deep, most likely part of storm drain.The cover put over it has slipped in making it even more dangerous, as the concrete cover is caught half way down. If anyone slips in, the concrete cover will likely drag them to their death. Needs barriering off.

3 Blocked gullies, 3rd October
These gullies have been blocked for at least 12 months.I have reported them constantly via our parish clerk and county councillor to no effect. All the water enters my field gate and takes debris from the road with it e.g, car mud flaps, plastic bottles, plastic carrier bags etc. If my cattle ingest plastic and die, you WILL be held responsible. I am tired of cleaning up your mess. When the gully cleaners came around to do the rest of the parish, they said they are not in our area. They were. There should be no boundaries as it is a "County" operation. Even if there are boundaries, the boundary is at Okehampton Cottages 400 yards away.Please come back and do your job properly.

Dead tree on council owned bank, 5th August
When this tree falls it will block the road and also damage my house. The last tree to fall from this bank just missed one of my neighbours. I informed the council over two weeks ago, they denied owning the bank but subsequently talking to Magna Housing they confirmed that the council does in fact own it. Magna Housing have photos.

Drain/gully silted up, causing flooding., 4th March
The drain is silted up and the little stream has become blocked causing flooding. This has been here for several months. The water can not escape. Nearby properties will flood if this isn’t cleared.

Large pot holes, 17th January
Large pot holes along Shurtland Lane. Some were mended a few months ago and the filling has all come out and the holes are worse than before. These are a real hazard to motorcycles. There problems from Shurtland Farm to The old Rectory.
