Gravel put around drain so cars can drive over pavement, 18th August
I'm a bit worried as my neighbour has but gravel on the road to build up to kerb so they can put their car on their garden. I don't want to cause trouble as they are lovely people but unfortunately the gravel is surrounding a drain. When we had the rain, the rain was unable to drain away because up the gravel surrounding it which caused flooding. My Mum is disabled & this prevented her going out of her disability scooter. This is outside number 33 Greenway. I'm worried this will cause more problems in the future with flooding. Their kerb is not dropped so understand why they need to build it up or their cars would not be able to go onto their garden but this is environmental restricting water to be drained away.

Fencing surrounding pathway pushed over damaging wall and leaving a several foot drop onto exposed metal next to shop pathway, 14th March
The metal fencing that runs the length of the pathway leading from Rogers Walk to the COOP store has been hit by something which i assume to be a large vehicle as their fencing is also broken again but it is now fallen onto the ground below and leaving a several feet drop onto exposed metal parts with bare brickwork. Very dangerous for passing children and totally unacceptable that this has been damaged to this extent with no rectification to make safe.

A plea - for the verges around the new roundabout at Bishops Lydeard to be designated as wildlife friendly, 23rd May
Over the past ten years, well 12 - 6 years ago it used to be a frequent possibility that we would drive past a dead hedgehog on the A358 between Cedar Falls and Bishops Lydeard, most particularly just before the junction with Station Road where the new roundabout has been built. Hedgehogs are well-documented as heading for extinction within the decade and one of the major reasons for this is the lack of long grass and undergrowth on field and road margins. Please, please can you consider seeding this area with long grass and wildflower seeds and then letting it be ? It won't look trim but it will be beautifully generous to the animals (voles etc that barn owls feed off) who need these environments. Be proud of it and signpost it as a wildlife friendly habitat. https://twitter.com/MeadowInGarden/status/864749804659896320 'Taunton Deane and HighwaysSouthwest support wildlife friendly roadsides' !! ?
