Hedges Not Cut - Dangerous, 12th March
Here is a plea – does anyone have any clout, or indeed know of someone who has said clout, to address the terrible state of the hedge walking out of the village towards the Worlds End junction from Three Elms to opposite Cobblestones. I have to take my secateurs as its downright dangerous, especially for the partially sighted, & after all there’s a pavement, and what is a pavement for – for one to walk on, but you have to walk on the grass verge – with the danger of turning your ankle or stepping in dog poo, & oh yes, some people do not pick up on that verge, and they know who they are! I’ve tried in the past to be in touch with the county council, parish council, never really getting anywhere, so as you can imagine bit p_ _ _ _ d off with it all. We want to be able walk down the road, either to the pub or to the main road to go elsewhere. So, is it too much to ask? After all the other hedges have been cut well in my view.
Kind regards Pam
