Traffic sign for roundabout is facing the wrong way on the west bound side of the A358 approx. 0.5m before the roundabout, 28th April
The sign for the Southfields roundabout , west bound side of the A358, approximately 0.5 mile before the roundabout, is facing the wrong way and can only be seen if travelling east bound. The sign has been like this for many months but is distracting to motorists.

Directly outside our property entrance is a road run off drain that is completely blocked. It is causing standing water to remain on the road.

Excessive rubbish along roadside!, 16th January
Excessive road side rubbish on both carriage ways including lay-by’s. Roadsides haven’t been cleaned and tidied for a considerable time.

Something has changed and now when we have heavy rain it comes up through the drain. The road has constant water flowing and concerns about when it freezes this will be sheet ice.

Driving condition unsafe after utility works, 19th November
Patching up of long channel dug in road - after recent utility works has made the road uneven with a channel/rut that tyres get stuck/start to following making driving unsafe for the whole stretch of road

Multiple road signs smashed on dangerous A358 corner, 15th November
A car/lorry (as they seem to often do on this corner) smashed into all the chevron signs. There are now no signs to warn drivers of the approaching bend travelling in either direction. Unfortunately the corner is prone to speeding vehicles and there have been multiple accidents and near misses. Please treat this issue with some urgency.

Street lights 2 and 3 not working
1 has now been fixed and is working again but all others are still out

Road signs knocked down and verge overgrown, 6th October
These road signs have been demolished by a vehicle leaving the carriageway on wrong side of the road. Reported to Somerset Council 4/10/23 (687231) and now logged as fixed but nothing has been done! This is the third time in the past 2 years that signs & wall have been destroyed by vehicles leaving the carriageway on the wrong side of the road. There have also been further incidents where signs have been demolished by traffic leaving the carriageway from the correct side of the road in the past few years. The verge is overgrown and has not been cut for years meaning that signs could be obscured. The wall of Highlands Lodge has been damaged again and had to be rebuilt last year. It is only a matter of time before a vehicle ends up in one of the houses on this side of the highway. Reports of incidents get bounced between National Highways and Somerset Council. It's time someone takes responsibility before someone gets killed.

Hedge has been untouched by Abri for many years and Is now so big and full of weeds it's reaching and covering the path, bus shelter and defibrillator When it once was a small hedge on top of the bank
