Blocked gullies slimy slippery roads & potholes, 20th April
Affects every road in and out of Dinnington in all directions. Blocked gullies. Jetting DOESN'T WORK! Totally inadequate gullies. Need to take water AWAY! Even when there's been no rain every road in and out of the village is running water, slimy algae, VERY slippery particularly on foot, cycling. When it rains all roads turn into rivers. Debris washing down blocks gullies even worse. And the water/ice causes potholes. Huge potholes. New ones every week. Any attempt by highways to chuck tarmac in holes get washed out. State of the roads in Dinnington is like a third world country. Disgraceful. It's a single track road used by school run and short-cutters who won't/can't reverse. You can't even use the pull-ins because the side of the road has eroded and your vehicle falls off the edge. We pay the same council tax and car road tax as those in towns but get nothing for it here. PLEASE FIX THE DRAINAGE AND ROADS IN DINNINGTON.

Frozen Flood Water!, 8th January
Everytime it rains this point in the road has standing water. Recently someone has put a line of sandbags along the road edge to try and stop this, however, to no avail. No temperatures are below 0, this has turned to an ice patch which is lethal. Unbelievable, 6th March
Hollow lane was closed for a whole day, for pothole repairs. Great we thought. Then to our complete amazement & disbelief, less than 2meters on from a mended pothole, are these two serious potholes. ! How can this be sensible or economical??
