Concrete fire hydrant sign on verge opposite Hankerton Bridge pumping station at GR969909 has been hit by a vehicle and is lying flat, now partially hidden in long grass. The access hatch for the hydrant at the roadside is now covered with mud and invisible. If there were a fire in a nearby property fire fighters would now have difficulty finding the hydrant.

Blocked gutter rainwater gulley, 26th August

Two potholes, 18th January
One pothole ( 4 ins deep, sharp edges, getting larger in area daily) is in Cloatley Road, Hankerton, SN16 9--, approx 2 yards from its junction with the Charlton-Hankerton road, C92, on the north side of the Cloatley Road. Second pothole is approx 5 yards from the first, in the Charlton-Hankerton road, on the east side of the road.

Road damage already reported twice via Clarence and to my County Councillor without any response, 3rd November
The Wilts Council mechanical sweeper causes damage to the road surface each time it visits. The suction dislodges tarmac and the brushes spread the debris. One such area, highlighted on the map, is now a substantial pothole.

Road repair subsidence, 5th March
Road repair immediately adjacent to 1 Cargill Place, Oaksey, SN16 9TT has subsided, which in turn has created extra road noise and the house foundations to tremble when heavier vehicles pass(18 tonne limit in force). Two previous attempts to notify Clarence over 6 month period have not had any advice returned. Can you help please?

The road surface has become badly worn near traffic calming leading to differences of around 3" in surface height. Not great for cars but a lot worse for two wheels.
