Man hole cover on southbound side is exposed due to pothole. Metal corner is pointing towards oncoming vehicle tires, causing cars to dodge into other lane. Dangerous.

Pot Holes - A429 Kingway Bridge, 26th June
The pot holes in the A429 south bound carriageway under Kingway Bridge have continued to grow in size and are now dangerous for cyclists/motor cyclists. Also, car drivers swerve their vehicles across the centre of the road to avoid potentially damaging tyres and wheels. How many more months is it going to be before this road is repaired to an acceptable standard and potential accidents avoided?

There are huge potholes under the bridge on the A429 just north of Lower Stanton St. Quintin. This affects both south and northbound lanes. Been apparent for the last 18 months but road surface damage increasing as left untreated.

A pothole adjacent to the BT manhole, 15th February
A pothole has developed over the past months adjacent to the BT manhole, towards the edge of the road. This is on the southbound carriageway of the A429 (Corston main road), by the bridge. Lorries, cars and trailers crash into the pothole causing some to swerve into the already dangerous bend.

There is lots of potholes and broken up surface along the A429 from Malmesbury to Motorway junction, this is very dangours state in parts causing car to skid on this high speed road due to trying to avoid damaged surface , you are now fully aware of the situation under the Highways Act concerning possible claims for damage.
