These potholes have been here for as long as I have lived in Corsham and are annoying when you try and avoid them as I am a cyclist.

Huge pothole hidden by puddle, 8th January
Pothole caused two tyres to pop on my car this evening, it was hidden by a puddle. It was also pitch black so very scary as a lone female with a child in the car - beware!

Lower Priory St surrounding mini rounabout area, pavements, 27th October
Dangerous, slippery underfoot from falling leaves .. Especially lethal for me being an 83 Yr old and other residents alike.. Never been cleared in previous yrs ... Is necessary for the safety of the community ..

The road is flooded, further across the ridge there is more flooding, Rough Street is a mess and was/may still be flooded

Large potholes along the side of the road., 6th February
There are potholes all along this road and roars in the surrounding area. These roads are thin country lanes so if you are passing by another car you will need to drive into them. If by chance a car is coming along at a fast speed and you need to get out of the way quick then you will most likely drive into a large pothole at a high speed. The potholes have been there as far as I have lived here and nothing has ever been done about them.

Incorrect diversion signs, 7th September
From Corsham there are diversion signs leading to Prospect B3353 Corsham to Melksham Road. The signs direct you to the Dicketts Road junction, only to find a Road Closed Sign and a diversion sending you back to town. WHAT A FARCE!

12 inch length pothole outside MOD entrance, 21st August
The whole stretch is in poor condition but this is one of the worst. Has been bad for 12 months.

There is a large section of road on the A4 between the Cross Keys Road lights heading east towards Chippenham that is in a very poor state of repair., 13th March
There is a large section of road on the A4 between the Cross Keys Road lights heading east towards Chippenham that is in a very poor state of repair. While it might be driveable for cars I cycle to Chippenham on this road, often in the dark, and it is treacherous. Please can the worst parts be re-surfaced.

Parking everywhere with no regard for residents, 3rd February
Cars abandoned everywhere all hours of the day and night whilst collecting take always from Chinese restaurant, really noisy people and vehicles, have reported to council who didn't bother to reply.

Grit bins, 10th December
In pockeridge road we used to have three grit bins. 1. As you enter street 2. On corner going up the hill by 46,47 pockeridge road by the steps 3. At the top of the hill by the steps We now only have one as you enter pockeridge road which is not good when it freezes and snow as you can not drive down or up the hill the go to work as it dangerous

Someone knocked the lamp post down and now we have no light and a big hole in the foot path and it dangerous for foot pedestrians and it's is too dark as well, 10th December

Pavement blocked/hazardous by piles of wet leaves, 15th October
The pavement on Priory Street between Newlands Road and the High Street is covered in wet leaves, partially blocking it and making the rest very slippery and hazardous. Since there is a school nearby the pavement is heavily trafficked and needs to be cleared as soon as possible.

Westbound lane blocked, traffic backed up for miles, 15th October
Wesses Water have dug up a portion of the A4, just east of the Hare and Hounds. The entire westbound lane is blocked by a large hole, pile of rubble, and fence. There is no traffic light system in place, and as a result traffic is backed up for a mile or more in either direction. Avoid the A4 through Corsham! (Wiltshire council have been notified through their website, but god knows how long it will be before they notice or take action.)

Root damage to footpath and steps., 29th May
Significant root damage to footpath outside 38 Poynder Road. It is a trip hazard. Also steps to car park starting to sag and deteriorate. Some support bricks already missing and one slab already loose. It is an incident waiting to happen. My 80 year old father in law almost went over yesterday.

Path impassable owing to hedge trimmings, between Elley Green and Lypiatt, 2nd February
The hedge was cut recently all along from Elley Green, along Lypiatt Road and round to the estate and shops in Lypiatt. Unfortunately the path is covered in trimmings making it difficult to walk along, and in places impassable.
