Byway /road blocked by locked gate, 17th June
The tenants at Tynewydd have blocked the highway with security locks on the gate. On speaking with them, they refuse to open the gates and alternatively state that the byway is washed away, unpassable due to fallen trees, the council/Police/landlady have advised them to lock the gates. They state they have been in contact with the council and when asked for a PoC, show social media messages exchanged with the TET online community and can only say that they have received a message from the "Clic" (Ceredigion Council automated reply service).

Abandonded litter bin? Often overflowing, 29th February
The old County Council removed many public litter-bins in the mid-1970s, this one on the junction between the A484 and A486 seems forgotten. Rubbish is still dumped in and around the bin. As much of the rubbish is bagged, I suspect excess domestic rubbish is dumped here by people aware of this bins location. If this bin stays then it must be emptied more regularly, it seems to get emptied "randomly", maybe once a month. Maybe if the council cannot afford to empty it regularly it should be removed.

There are 1 or 2 black bags of rubbish at the side of the road on the north side of the Y junction. There seems to be a concrete rubbish bin next to the spot, so perhaps that's full too? This stuff has stayed there thro 2 cycles of "black bag" collections by the local council.
