Holes in road, 21st March
The road from Pentrecwrt to Cross Hands cottage above Bancyffordd is in a very bad state of repair. Many serious potholes, and the lack of ditch clearing means puddles and streams across the road in many places, e,g, by Gefail Newydd and by Glyncoch. These latter problems have been reported before over about 5 years.

A small fridge plus other rubbish fly tipped, 19th February
A fridge and some other rubbish has been dumped in the road side gateway to a forest, it is a common fly tipping site

Speed humps - insufficiently tapered, 1st May
Speed humps were installed outside the school, near the start of April, within a couple of weeks the northbound road outside the school was resurfaced and incredibly the northbound speed humps re-made. These northbound humps have a different profile to the southbound humps in as much as the northbound rise out of the road faster (are less tapered). I am a law abiding citizen, and cross these humps at 20 mph (as required) but I fear the northbound humps are taking their toll on my suspension & shock absorbers.

Excess gravel after road resurfacing, 18th August
This section of road has been "top dressed" with tar & gravel. The road sweeper has been down the road since the road was re-surfaced, to take-up the loose gravel, BUT has missed the bell-mouth on the south-side of the junction, where the loose gravel is OVER an inch thick. The bell-mouth is on a slope and my wife slipped on the loose stones this morning, and an elderly resident slipped on the same spot this afternoon!

Hard rubble of concrete waste, lumps of tarmac, etc dumped at side of road at the end of street of houses, north side of road. Probably amounting to about 15 tonnes.
