The new 20mph syestem in urban areas requires a pair of 20 & 30 mph signs somewhere on the eastern approach to Newcastle Emlyn. The westerly entries to town are covered, but there is missing signage from Carmarthen side. Well at least that what I guess since the static digital display closer to town will show drivers red at say 25mph, but there is no signage! Even more confusing, the small 30mph roundels tell drivers in the same area!

Potholes getting deeper, 1st February
These potholes have formed during the last 4yrs in the channel between the edge of the road and the hedge. They are located on the LH side of the road when travelling towards Blaengwyddon Fawr for 75M before and after passing a large tree in the verge. During the recent heavy rain a lot of stone and rubble have been washed out from the channel and potholes which has made matters worse.

Temporary traffic lights between Cwmcou and Adpar (B4333), 4th December
The temporary traffic lights have now been in situ for over 2 years due to the road subsiding into the river. Work finally started earlier this year and appeared to conclude over a month ago as no workmen have been there since. The road is now resurfaced and road markings painted. Despite this, the traffic lights are still there causing considerable delays for all commuters and wasting fuel while cars idle at the lights. When will these lights be removed and why does it take Ceredigion Council so long to conclude any job?

Forced into waking in road with pushchair due to inconsiderate parking, 1st March
Parked like this all weekend. No consideration for pedestrians. Cars regularly park here treating it as a car park, forcing wheelchair user, pranks into road after a bend. Accident could happen here soon.

Very bad road condition between Felin Geri & Penralltgeri Uchaf, 17th July
The road is in a particularly bad condition between Felin Geri and Bronallt, and Alltgeri cottages and Penralltgeri Uchaf.
There was some road works a couple of weeks ago, where the worst potholes have been tarmaced (thank you) but the road is still in a very bad condition.
In particular, there are two very big bumps in the road just uphill from Wychwood.

Car with no MOT for 18 months being used on roads, 16th November
Car being driven on public road to ck's car park everyday with no MOT for a year and a half. Police have known since April 2016 but won't deal with it. Seen in and around Newcastle Emlyn everyday, has re taxed the vehicle,how is that possible with no MOT?

New 20mph zone, 10th May
30mph signs when heading out of town. Yet this is now designated as a 20mph zone when traveling towards NCE from Adpar. I think when the new 20mph zone was extended some one forgot to remove these.
