Locked gate in farmyard leading to UCR, 2nd November
On 31/10/2022 I found a padlocked gate at the bottom of the farm yard leading to a track which is marked on Ordnance Survey maps as an 'Unclassified County Road'. This prevents horse riders, motorcyclists and 4x4s from accessing or exiting the road from the northern end, which I believe they have a legal right to do. I am a member of GLASS and their TW2 database shows that a user by the name of Sean Brown reported this problem to Carmarthenshire County Council 1 year ago. Additionally just above this locked gate was a pen containg cattle which caused me to have to climb over a further two gates for fear of cattle escaping from the confined space.

Private Property - No Trespassing sign, 10th August
Hi,
I'd like to report a blocked road / byway - last month we came across a'Private Property - No Trespassing sign' suggesting we could not access this byway at location N51° 54.800' W4° 27.664'. It appears to be a legal byway on OS maps and no current TRO notifications visible...
Regards

Access Blocked to public highway, 16th July
The occupants of the farm are obstructing the highway. The highway that runs next to the farm is used as a holding area for milking cows and therefore the occupants vigerously deny public access to the highway.

The highway has been obstructed by two locked gates., 12th July
The highway has been obstructed with locked gates at either side of the farmyard (accompanied by 'private' signs). The narrow turning space makes the obstructions potentially dangerous for horse riders.
I’ve attached a map from the County Council showing the extent of the public highway at this location.

A road closed sign appears to be in unlawful use., 6th July
A regulation road closed sign is being used to deny access to this highway, which to me also shows signs of purpresture.
I cannot find evidence of any legal order made by the authority to close this highway, so if no order is in force think that the sign ought to be reclaimed by its rightful owner.
