Big, deep pothole, 4th January
This has appeared last week or so and is definitely a hole that’s going to cause immediate damage and/or safety issues if gone over in the wrong place.
Must be 10 inches deep and about 12 or so inches across. A pothole you definitely need to avoid as a road user and if a bike goes over it they’re 100% going over the handlebars.

Circa 20 inch pothole within a crevasse that creates a dip in the road, 4th January
This has been around for sometime and is slowly getting worse. Before there was no hole and just the dip but now a hole has opened up. Issue has been present circa 3 years.

Dangerous jagged street signs, 4th April
The street signs on Pennard Drive SA32DN are dangerous. Very rusty with sharp metal edges sticking out. They are low so a child could easily run their hand over them.

Deep pothole in westbound lane opposite vicarage driveway exit, 19th March
Pothole is not very large but is deep and difficult to see on approach, making it hard to avoid. Also impossible to avoid if there is traffic in the oncoming lane.

Narrowing of the pavement on Pennard Road, Kittle, 15th August
The pavement narrows sufficiently on the Pennard Road (outside number 19) through Kittle village that a double pram, a mobility scooter and a blind person with a guide dog can’t use the pedestrian crossing to get to the village shops or bus stop without stepping out onto the road.

Series of potholes and uneven road surface on westbound side of carriageway around semi-blind bend., 14th April
Road surface deteriorating along edge with a series of potholes and dips developed. Whilst helping somewhat to calm traffic speeds around narrow bend, this also causes traffic to stay clear of the edge which makes it more hazardous to oncoming vehicles.

Damage to grass verge and grass roundabout, 14th April
For 3 years cars and vans have been forced to park on the grassy verge outside 9, 10 and 11 Belvedere Close to enable traffic to flow around the cross. This has damaged the grass verge and it never recovers. Pedestrians and dog walkers get muddy in the winter from the bog puddles caused. The bin lorries are unable to pass around the close without mounting the roundabout even when the car are parked on the verge. This damages the grass roundabout and throws mud into the road. The problem is unsightly and messy.
