Blocked Road, 5th September
Highway still obstructed via a padlocked gate. Chain and locks on both sides of gate with no alternative route. Tree the other end has now been cleared (Thank you Carmarthen Council) landowner adjacent to UCR claims gates have been left open allowing animals to escape however the gate to his field opens out into this ORPA. Users of the highway have two gates at 90° either side of the landowners gate which link hedgerow to hedgerow, which theoretically both of those gates could be left open with no escape of livestock provided his one was shut (his one runs parallel to the road) Users of this highway have no need to interfere with any gates opening into his field. The way this gate has been locked on one side still allowing access by unhinging and rehanging the gate previously to it now being padlocked both sides is a clear intention to block the UCR. This is not the first report and the issue has been going on for many months. I and multiple other users would be extremely grateful if this could be resolved A.S.A.P
Thank you

Large tree log blocking access to a legal road byway, 10th August
Hi,
I'd like to report a blocked legal road byway - Last month we came across a serious sized tree log blocking the legal byway uphill section at location N51° 54.262' W4° 12.390'. Judging by it's 'cut to size' length and it's 'nail & string' tied to fence appeared a deliberate act of blocking access to this byway.
Regards

ORPA blocked, 28th April
Trees blocking the pathway and exit gate padlocked and hinges bolted preventing egress. The landowner is in dispute with users claiming gates have been left open allowing animals to escape. He acknowledged it was a right of way but said they would remain locked/blocked until someone from the council told him otherwise.

Large holes in road, 6th March
The existing holes have now significantly worsened. They are undermining the side of the road and more have appeared. Would it be possible to resolve the issue, the little patches of tarmac aren't doing it sadly, before the side of the road gives in. Sadly the water and ice of late has taken its toll. Diolch

Japanese Knotweed in the verge/hedge, 27th May
Japanese knotweed in the verge. We don't know if this is a highway or land owner issue, but the verge cutting the occurs in the next month or so would chop this to bits and result in the spread of this plant. If you could advice please.
