Flood Damage, 15th December
Due to damaged drains further up the B4301 when it rains water pours down the road and runs into the stream. This has coursed major damage next to the road and has eroded the bank down to the stream. The council have placed cones, but this needs repairing before a vehicle slips into it.

Missing road markings, 23rd November
After resurfacing the new chevron road markings now cover half the area they previously did. This makes it very dangerous for people getting off the bus and crossing the road, to stand in a safe area to see for oncoming traffic on a blind bend. A better alternative would be a bollard on the road to stand by and to slow traffic down that currently treats it as one continuous road.

Dangerous Junction, 24th July
We are very concerned about the road safety at Graig Junction, Bronwydd, where the B4301 meets the Llanpumsaint road, at both the speed of the traffic, this is currently set at the national limit! but also the speed of vehicles as they turn off the B4301 onto the Llanpumsaint road. Vehicles currently treat this as one road and make no attempt to reduce their speed as they turn onto the Llanpumsaint road, despite this being a blind bend. Due to their speed they are often on the wrong side of the road facing oncoming traffic, at which point the road narrows to only 14 feet! And this is not helped with all manner of vehicle types and sizes using the road. This is also compounded by the following points: * Crossing of the road for people to access: the post box, bus stop and school bus, which both stop at this junction daily. * The danger speeding vehicles are to the cyclists, joggers and horse riders that use the road daily. * Lost Skanda Vale visitors – Almost daily we have visitors stop/change direction (or knock on our door for directions!) causing a hazard. So far, we have had a young driver crash on her way down the hill, a lorry reverse into our wall, a couple of smashed wing mirrors where cars have hit at the narrow point of the road, and numerous incidents of road rage! We would like to see the speed limit on this road reduced and we would also like to know if the layout of the junction could be altered to ensure drivers reduce their speed before turning onto the Llanpumsaint road. We first reported our concerns to Carmarthenshire road safety department back in June 2017 and after little help or contact, they have now been out twice to visit the site, the second time with an engineer who may be able to look at road alterations to help slow the traffic, we still await their plans.

Low bridge sign in wrong location, 24th July
This sign is just after you turn off the B4301 on the road to Llanpumsaint (at Graig Junction) This means lorries see it to late resulting in them reversing back onto the B4301 on a blind junction. This sign needs to be relocated on the B4301, in both directions, before the junction.
