Lots of recent potholes, getting worse daily because of water, 9th April
There are lots of potholes on this stretch. Heading from Reynoldston towards Little Reynoldston, there is a metal gated entrance to a field. There is lots of water pouring from this field (there is water coming from here even in the middle of a long dry hot summer, so may be a spring or stream rather than surface water). This water running seems to have made the potholes along this road noticeably bad and worsening over the last month or so. Some holes are really deep. But - there is one pot hole where the water has now started to flow up from - close to the metal gate - so water / stream / spring is now flowing under the tarmac and making it worse daily.
If anyone in highways fancies a nice drive out to check potholes, there are masses of bad ones all over Gower & Swansea, most of which have been getting progressively worse recently. I’d hate to hit one of them on a push bike or motorbike!

There are multiple wide and deep pot holes, usually under water because of natural spring (or water leak?) higher up the road. If a bike hits these they could easily come off and be injured.

Multiple worsening and unavoidable potholes across the road, 25th March
This potholed area is right on a sharp bend and impossible to miss. We have been using that road for several years and the extent of the potholing now is positively dangerous.

Residents using the lane to dump building rubbish, 15th September
I have visited twice in the last six weeks. The resident (Elderly, short white cap) seems to think he runs the village. The picture shows the extent of the ruble dumped. You might also like to look at the elderly mans diy drain hes sunk across the road.

There are no National Speed limit signs when you travel from Knelston towards Scurlage, 5th August
No NSL signs when you come out of Knelston travelling towards Scurlage.However when you travel from Scurlage to Knelston there are two NSL starter signs.As its a single carriageway the speed limit must be the same in either direction.

Rapidly deepening wheel breaker pothole, 27th June
The pothole has been present a few weeks, but is getting rapidly worse. It is unavoidable, as it is right on the wheel line, in the narrowest section on the road where there is no margin to steer safely around it. It is now just the size to puncture a tyre, or even break a wheel.

Dumped Decorator waste, 1st May
At 8.00pm on Thursday 28th April a silver/grey Vauxhall vivaro type of van was parked in this layby on Fairwood common. At 7.30am Friday 29th April the rubbish was in the layby. If you have had painting done maybe internal and external on the west of Swansea your 'decorator' may have dumped this rubbish. Share, name and shame and stop this person trading.
