The road surface outside this property is has become exetensively degraded over the last 2 years due to being covered in slurry during the winter months. it is now at the stage of being extremely dangerous to pedestrians and vehicles and needs urgent resurfacing.

Blocked and sinking drain with surrounding hole, 14th November
The drain is blocked, and overflowing with any recent rain. The drain also appears to be sinking, and despite what appears to be a recent repair, there is a pothole that is quickly increasing in both depth and diameter.
The location of the hole, and the depth causes a potential problem, especially to cyclists and with the blocked drain making it often hidden.

Poor road surface, 20th May
The surface of the A40 for a section of approximately 300 metres (direction North to South) is extremely poor, fractured in many places with potholes and areas of previous resurfacing that creates an extremely dangerous section.
For cyclists in particular this section of road is extremely dangerous, forcing riders either to use the innermost area, which gives to movement or to ride in the centre of the carriageway with dangerous overtakes as a result..
The road is the only reasonable way from Llangadog to Llanwrda with this section being poor sighted, giving increased risk to riders.
Travelling from the North the final section opposite the junction to Llansadwrn is the worst with deep holes and no areas to avoid them.

Large pothole in centre of road, 16th March
This pot hole has developed recently since the colder weather. It is increasing in size very quickly.
The position of the hole and the location of the road makes for a problem with cars almost always parked beside, leaving no space to avoid when driving up or down.
The street and location of the hole is also a problem for cyclists with many younger children living in the street and cycling around, the hole and the loose surface that surrounds it has the potential to cause accidents.
The hole is halfway down the street and in the centre of the road.
