Issues with bridge and road surface, 19th December
The problems are, the road surface is so smooth that when it freezes it becomes sheet ice and with the new bridge layout it becomes impossible to navigate, hit the side of the bridge or and the rock face at the bottom of the hill... at least three cars last week including myself. Also with the lowest point being in the middle of the bridge it collects a large amount of mud, leaves and gravel run off from the steep hill above collecting up to three inches deep right the middle of the turn and when it freezes it can make a large piece of ice.
