FIXMYSTREET IN SA19 6SF
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of SA19 6SF:
Road edge eroded for approx. 10m, 10th February
The edge of the road has eroded away for a distance of approx. 10 metres, such that there is now not sufficient width for a vehicle, forcing drivers to go partly off road. There is a sharp edge where the tarmac has broken away. One vehicle has clearly had an accident as there is a plastic bumper on the side of the road. The issue has been present for over a month and is getting progressively worse.

Sinkhole-like pothole, just over a foot in width, 26th April
Pothot, just over a foot in width in the middle of a narrow road. Rather than having been caused by surface erosion there appears to have been some subsidence of the ground below. It's like a small sink hole and in the vicinity of earlier repairs involving a water main or similar.

40mph signs on A40 between Broad Oak and Cottage Inn, serving no purpose but still up., 28th June
These signs are presumably left over from hedge/verge trimming more than a fortnight ago. No-one obeys them, they just contribute to the creeping idea that road markings are only advisory. There has also been a yellow 40mpg sign just east of Broad Oak for months
