Potholes and dangerous road surface, 22nd April
Entrance to Brynhyfryd estate and on the main road immediately before it has potholes and a very uneven surface. Drivers cut the corner to avoid it, into the path of oncoming cars. This has been in a state of gradual decline over several years, to the current point where people are having to avoid it.

24”x 12”, 13th November
Temp repair completed about 3 months ago. Situation is getting worse. The whole street is uneven to the point it pull s your vehicle to one side. It appears to be on top of the main sewer line running down the street. Over the past few years the street has seen a phenomenal amount of heavy good vehicles. With railway upgrades the train crash and Welsh water vehicles. The road is desperate for repairs and resurfacing. There is going to be an injury on this road. Thanks

Multiple deep potholes on the whole road, 13th November
Multiple deep potholes that have been repaired several times. It looks like it could turn into a sink hole if it gets any worse. The street has a lot of heavy traffic due to railway and repairs. I feel the street should be closed for investigation into the safety of the road.

Lack of pavement from Park forcing people to go onto road., 21st August
Are you aware of the right person to contact regarding the pavement issue at the base of Cae Pownd? There was a modification made some time ago where the pavement was brought down to road level, creating a potential hazard. Given the increasing activity in the area, I'm concerned that an accident might occur. Hence, I'm advocating for an extension of the pavement beyond the house, connecting it to the park pathway. Recently, I witnessed a young mother struggling with a stroller over the drains and grass instead of using the busy road.

Partial road collapse inline with sewer pipe line in road, 14th June
There are several very large potholes on the road leading to the railway and outside number 67 the road has actually broken down and started to collapse the hole is the size of football and 8-9 inches deep it would dismount a motorcyclist if they didnt see it, it would also damage a car this is very concerning as the other potholes appear to be getting larger and deeper. I assume it’s down to the heavy vehicles being used regarding the railway.

Movement of large volume of waste/earth, 7th May
Being part of Llanelli ramblers that use this road a lot on our walks , I have noticed that there is a lot of tractor /trailer moving a lot of earth down this road. I have used this road a lot over the last few years on my walks for lockdown, and almost every time Llanelli ramblers and others walk it, I encounter the same blue tractor dumping massive loads of mud down the road. I don’t know if this is contaminated or not, but the road is in a heck of a mess as a result. A few is us ramblers that use this road to get back to the main road have noticed that there are two driveways that are accepting this waste. We cannot see where these are being taken to , but it’s easy to track the mud to the two entrances . Shouldn’t there be a waste transfer license for this type of tipping ?

20mph but no speed bumps, 10th June
Although the whole street is a 20mph next to a school there is no speed bumps and the manner of driving from some residents and people parking on the estate at school pick up time is recklessly fast, there have been numerous near misses of children and animals being struck when cars are driving at double the speed limit and this issue has been present for at least the last 7 years that I've lived here, me and other neighbours have reported the issue but it's constantly ignored! Is it going to take the death of a child before carmarthenshire council actually put speed bumps in and protect residents and school visitors?

Speeding vehicles, 1st June
This is a 20mph estate, the younger neighbours find it acceptable to drive extremely fast onthe St resulting in 2 cat deaths in the last 24 hrs and some very very close calls with children, speed bumps would probably be the best to solve this. This has been getting worse over the last year.
