Pothole, 12th April

Fri, 12 Apr 2024 07:30:26 +0100
51.65592 -3.606996

This pothole appeared after the really cold weather. Again this is getting bigger by the day. So instead of shoving a bag of tarmac in the hole and hoping for the best, repair it properly for once so it doesn't reappear.

About 3 Big Potholes in this Area, 30th January

Wed, 30 Jan 2019 12:10:24 +0000
51.648335 -3.578954

There are about 3 in this area, and if your doing more than 30 on this section it won't be long before it will damage your car. I'm pretty sure this section of road has done damage to my car, and the only way to avoid them is by going on the opposite side of the road or slow all the way down.

Very dangerous potholes / broken road surface at edges of cattle grid, 14th May

Mon, 14 May 2012 09:44:02 +0100
51.652040837523 -3.5970323410487

The road surface either side of the cattle grid, particularly on the Bwlch mountain side, is badly broken up leaving very large holes, one of which has a piece of ironwork in, protruding upwards. The road is frequently used by cyclists and motorcyclists and these holes could very easily cause a serious crash as they are large enough for a wheel to fully go down and not just roll over. A quite major cycling event (the Dragon Ride) with several thousand participants will be passing over this road in early June. These holes will quite definetly cause accidents and damage.
