2 blocked drains full of leaves and mud, 15th December
2 blocked drains full of leaves and mud needs cleaning fluds car park as there is no water draining due to the 2 drains being blocked i think they need a good cleaning due to this issue

A frame removal, 15th August
Just off the main road that connects Cymmer to Abercregan, there is an A frame gate which leads onto a path that follows old railway line.
These A frames are not disabled friendly and NPTC have been removing them elsewhere.

Side road has a very poor surface and some very large potholes, 10th June
The whole road surface is extremely poor and is on a hill which makes it difficult to gain traction this making the road surface dangerous. There are also a couple of very large potholes at the bottom of the road closer to Afan Road

Awful pothole, 14th March
Nasty pothole as you go down the hill and round the bend. Especially if driving in the dark. You can't avoid it as its round a bend. 2 nights running it's caught me out. Needs sorting ASAP.

Sync issue and timing issue, 5th December
Lights on both sides of the bridge are out of sync both going green together and when working correctly you don't have time to cross the bridge before the lights on the other side change in favour of oncomming traffic.

Overgrown / slippery area at base of stairs, 10th September
The area at the bottom of the stairs leading into the car park has been neglected and is covered in moss creating a treacherous and highly dangerous area. This is a very serious slip risk for anyone who relies on these stairs and is forcing vulnerable and disabled people to walk back up the steps to find an alternate route (via roads without pavements). Previously the council would jetwash the tarmac area and cut back foliage regularly to maintain safe access.

NPTCC recycle keep leaving rubbish everywhere, 28th March
Every single week NPTCC recycle team comes on a Monday and whatever they drop on Duffryn Street, they can't be bothered to pick up leaving us, the residents, to complete their work for them. Every week I report this to them and also report it separately as fly tipping and not once in the uncountable times that I have reported has anybody had the common decency to reply to me or rectify this constant problem. I am paying them for a service that I am not receiving. This isn't only an ongoing issue on my street, this happens all across the valley on their route. We even find recyclables have fallen out of their lorry whilst travelling along the main road. NPTCC cannot be bothered to stop this and so I am reaching out for help further afield. We live in a beautiful area and this pure lazyness is ruining the area
