Dangerous parking on school run, 6th October
Hiya, we walk into school everyday and are becoming increasingly concerned about the parking outside Norton le moors school on drop off and collection times. There are plenty of parking and drop off spaces but for some reason parents choose to park half on the double yellows and half on the pavement. This prevents anyone with a pushchair or wheelchair from using the pavement and instead they have to walk onto the road. Ive witnessed a handful of very close misses over the last couple of weeks where cars have reversed and almost hit children that are walking in the road trying to avoid the parked cars. I did notice parking enforcement there recently which happened to be on a quiet day where the school had lots of afterschool clubs. Usually the worst days are Monday and Friday and extremely bad in bad weather. Is there any way we can arrange some cones, signs like other schools or if you have any other ideas before one if the school children gets injured? Many thanks

Dangerous parking of horse box, 5th August
A large vehicle (horse box) is causing traffic obstruction and hindering view of traffic, in both directions. This reoccurring issue is causing a significant risk of collision. Clearly a vehicle of this size should not be allowed to park on a public high way. Therefore obstructing traffic and blocking peoples view, to this residents of the area ask why these actions have no consequences? Residents (including myself) have had many near misses due to this issue, it is only a matter of how long before we see a serious collision. This is cause for immediate attention, residents urge you to prevent this from occurring again. Before it’s too late .
