Manhole covers banging when cars ride over them. Top cast iron covers not fitting properly causing constant noise due to passing traffic. Bang - Bang., 17th October
This problem was fixed once, but became a dispute between who "owned" the manhole cover!! water or electric utilities. Hence only one set of covers were fixed. One set still remaining and causing a real problem for us at night when trying to sleep. Covers in question at junction of Long Street and Meadowcroft Gardens. Set into Long Street road.

Severe road degregation, 7th February
Road breaking up due to leak from under road water pipes. Adjacent to a access panel. Problem on going for some months. Road has been patched some tome ago but road still breaking up as leakage has not been resolved.

Hedge impinging on pavement, 20th September
The pavement along Long Street is being overgrown by the hedge from 2 Caspian Way. There is a telegraph post on the pavement & push chairs & invalid conveyances cannot proceed along the pavement & are forced onto the road

Pothole getting bigger, 22nd August
Manhole cover leaking copious amounts of water wheich is slowly been braking the road up around the cover. Now there is a big hole and lots of water flowing down and around some tight bends. I suspect that the cover will no longer be stable.
