Over grown cycle path route 55, 22nd July
Route 55 Stafford to Newport greenway. I have used this route a few times in the past few weeks but parts of it are getting unusable. Between Hauton and Gnosall the track is so narrow and over grown that it is difficult to cycle on. Please see attached picture. If you meet anyone coming the other way or walking you would need to go into the plants which are mainly nettles to pass each other. On an accessibly front a wheelchair user or mobility scooter used would not be able to use this part of the route at all. Nor would someone with children either in a pushchair or pram or on a bike. Spaces like this a valuable to disabled and family as traffic free areas to excerise and get fresh air. Last year I used this track to take my mom who is 65 to get back into cycling as it was fairly flat wide and traffic free. She has since had a nasty accident on her bike and needs her confidence renewing but there is no way I could use this track this year due to being so overgrown and becoming so narrow. After cycling along it today I feel like I have been through a jungle with scratches all down my legs and hands and nettle stings on the full length of both calf's. It is such a shame it has been left to get this bad.

Large pothole, 3rd August
Large deep pothole in Bradley Lane, Bradley, Stafford. From Bradley towards A518 just past track to upper Haughton house farm. This pothole is so large if a car hits it there will be damage caused to the vehicle.

Cycle/Footpath blocked, 9th June
The newly laid cycle/footpath between Gnosall and Haughton is currently impassible to both cyclists and walkers due to approx 10 foot x 6 inch deep cattle muck and mud where the farm cattle cross.
There is a deep rut approx 10 feet across and 6 inches deep which is collecting all the muck.
