FIXMYSTREET IN SK6 5BT
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of SK6 5BT:
40mm trip hazard in dislodged uneven paving., 23rd April
This paving defect has been there for over a year. I have reported this problem several times over the last 6 to 12 months. Nothing has been done at all. The paving is still very uneven. I have tripped over it once at night when it is not easy to see. It wouldn't surprise me if it has caused many problems, possibly trips and injuries.

Bridge collapse on footpath, 21st April
The footpath running between A626/Lower Fold and Bonington Rise has a bridge collapse. There is now approx 15 foot wide and 5 foot deep trench. There is a pipe just uphill of this, so it may have failed/broken, causing this area to be washed away. It is quite dangerous, especially for anyone using the area in the dark. Approx. Hi Highways Team,
There is a pothole which is all sunken cracked tarmac which when it rains collect water and is a hazard to all road users. As this is a school route with lots of pedestrians and traffic it just needs digging out and filling in to stop it ruining the surrounding road surface as its cracking the round surface and will cause further issues.
Thanks

The whole road needs resurfacing, 30th January
The whole of Hollins Lane except the very bottom needs resurfacing. Over the years there has been multiple holes dug and patched over to the point now where bits have sunk at different rates or potholes are now present.
It’s a very uncomfortable journey up or down the road and at points some bits have sunk so much compared to others that cars bottom out and hit the surface.

Huge tree blocking pathway, 24th January
The land next to my property as marked is not Stockport council land, nor mosscares. I have spoken to the city of Manchester council, tree surgeons and land registry regarding this. I have to put in a report to land registry but the lady has informed me that it's a long winded process. Children walk to school this way and it's a hazard. I don't know what else I can do. I have paid for land registry records but I am still non the wiser. Surely I shouldn't have to pay to make this safe myself as it isn't actually my property. But I am worried about it being a danger to the public. There is a lot of other much bigger trees in this land which could be blown over with the storm too.

Leaves, 29th November
We love the trees but please can we have the leaves removed along Church Lane outside All Saint's Church? There has been a heavy fall followed by rain and the pavement is now very slippy. They also have drifted in the road gutter meaning that cyclists have to ride in the middle of the carriageway. Thanks.

Potholes on road, 25th October
There are several potholes. These have been here for months but have worsened due to the recent weather. This is most of the way up gird lane but particularly bad after property The Oakes/cattery and before property Far Away. The tarmac has come away in multiple areas and there are now rocks/debris partially filling the holes in the road making it very uneven and difficult to drive on to reach our property.
