Untaxed and no MOT van being stripped, 22nd March

Obscured access whilst exiting Osborne st onto Stockport Rd West, 14th March
When you drive to the end of Osborne Street, this is the Junction onto STOCKPORT Road West. To turn either right or left, your vision is obscured by cars that are parked in the layby to the right, outside the terraced houses on STOCKPORT Road West. You cannot see cars travelling towards STOCKPORT without pulling out into the road. Also cars travelling from STOCKPORT who wish to turn right into STOCKPORT Road due to the wide being wide have cars coming up behind them & if they allow you out to turn right, you could be but by those cars behind. A decent set of traffic lights all over the Junction would take the danger away.

Argos Trailer, 28th February
There has been a different trailer all the time since the back of last year currently an Argos one outside silverdale care home but now I am noticing alot of what looks like polystyrene/plastic balls all down Bents Avenue in the grids and pavement not good for the environment or drainage.

Trailer parked outside care home …, 27th February
For the last 4-6 months there has been a lorry container parked at the bottom of Bents Avenue, at the junction with Goyt Valley Road. Reported initially as ‘abandoned’ and was removed, only to be replaced by another, before Xmas, this time in the parking lay-by, right outside Silverdale Care Home. Reported again as ‘abandoned’. Eventually fenced off ?by whom, then nothing until yesterday Feb 26th when it looked like the container was being removed. It was moved onto Goyt Valley Road with an HGV lorry in attendance … This morning, original container gone, only to have been replaced by another ‘Argos’ container, in the lay-by outside the care home. Enquiries at the care home revealed that they’ve been told that permission has been granted from Stockport council to park containers there, something to do with insulation work happening on the estate. Is this true or just a wind up/scam ???

Noise Nuisance - illegal use of a vehicle horn, 27th February
Every day we have to hear the horn peeping of a food wagon on the estate and it is illegal use of a horn - the vehicle is 2U food

Pavement parking, 22nd February
Road has double yellow lines & people are parking their cars completely on the pavement blocking the way for pedestrians, specifically when Harpers Drama Studio have an event on in an evening.

Potholes at entrance to Dalziel Ltd, 21st February
Numberous potholes at begining of Stuart Road. The worst is at entrance to Dalziel Ltd, reported previously to Stockport Council on Gov.com but workmen appear for 10 minutes to just fill in a few select small holes. Every person who works on the road has to drive over the area with extra caution as condition has been left to get worse and we do not wish to damage our vehicle. Pedestrians but be extra careful as they are serious trip hazards

Cardboard and bin bags, 15th February
Thrown over the fence above the motorway and they are in the trees, the litter is now making its way down and onto the carriage way. (I have also reported this to Stockport council)
There is also a lot of litter on the m60 between Bredbury and Ashton under Lyne in the hard shoulders, I’m also seeing the occasional bin bag? no doubt litter is blowing in due to the winds. Also, on the Bredbury slip road when exiting the motorway due to motorists being lazy and throwing their litter out of their cars.
There just seems to be an overwhelming amount of litter everywhere these days

Very large pothole, 9th February
Very large pothole and with cars going over it with speed is causing big stones to be thrown out and hitting parked cars ect. Also a worry for people crossing the road incase they hurt there ankle by tripping from it.
