The manhole cover on Dukinfield Road A627 opposite 267/Old Dairy Mews is loose and noisy as vehicles drive over it and potentially dangerous. Noise especially in the evening, early morning and night is very annoying and intrusive. This is getting worse and now needs attention. Regards and thank you.

There are many potholes along Higham Lane. The photos show some of the worst. The potholes are deep and hard for drivers to see, especially when it rains. Drivers try to drive round the holes, but sooner or later vehicles will be damaged or a cyclist could easily be injured.

Persistent parking on yellow lines blind bend, 27th February

Tue, 27 Feb 2024 14:20:19 +0000
53.442299 -2.097326

Parking on the yellow lines and pavement in a place that is dangerous. When cars are parked both sides of the road buses struggle to get through and wheelchair uses have to use the road. The parking is during the working day which is against the rules in place. Other cars cannot see around the bend but are forced onto the wrong side of the road by this inconsiderate and illegal parking.

I’m requesting for a camera to be installed on this zebra crossing due to my partner and 1 year old child in a buggy struggling to cross as no one actually abides by law and allows people to cross. This should really be changed for a set of lights to allow safe passage. This is a daily occurrence with many of my fellow neighbours having the same issue here.

Parking Issues / Highway Obstruction, 16th February

Fri, 16 Feb 2024 01:33:42 +0000
53.468323 -2.087242

We have rear access gates that are used to communal access, and bin collection. The gates sometimes get blocked by cars / vans parking fully on the pavement and making this a fire hazard. Could you please tell me how we go about having one post or concrete bollard in front on the gates to prevent this from happening.
