Car always parked on the crossing., 30th March
This car has been obstructing the pedestrian crossing for weeks, necessitating pedestrians to step onto the road to cross. Today, an elderly woman was nearly struck by a van that failed to notice her as she attempted to circumnavigate the car to cross the street.

Overgrown weeds and old sign dumped, 29th February
The area around the Hollingworth/ tintwistle sign at the border is overgrown with weeds and looks really scruffy. There is also an old roadworks.sign.and sand bag just dumped there, presumably from previous works which no one has moved.

Oil spillage on pavement, 15th February
Oil spillage on the pavement due to the vehicle that parks on it, outside the property next door to 78 Market Street, often causing pedestrians to walk close to the kerb and close to the passing traffic. Alternatively, when the vehicle parks on opposite side nearer to the kerb, pedestrians struggle to get between the property and vehicle due to wheelie bins. The size of the area covered in oil, will make it difficult for pedestrians to avoid.

Manhole cover loose, causing heavy vibrations through my house and neighbouring properties when a HGV goes over it. Disturbing my sleep pattern as it makes the windows rattle. One was recently reset further down the road but the one by the bus stop is causing ongoing issues

Heavily overgrown with weeds, 16th October
The footpath and kerbside at the border Between Hollingworth and Tintwistle is heavily overgrown with weeds, making the entrance way to the Village very untidy and partially blocking the footpath. A number of residents have complained to me that it makes the whole Village seem untidy.

Sunken gully ironwork, 29th September
The eastbound carriageway on this section of the A626 through Tintwistle has 3 sunken gully drain covers that are getting worse by the day. The noise from lorries driving over them is horrendous, especially in the early hours, and has been for a few months. These drain covers require URGENT attention please.
