Roadworks have been carried out and removed stone cobbles from the surface of the road. This is a conservation area and this cobbles should have been replaced by the CEC Highways contractor. This is another example of poor work by a CEC Highways contractor. Please arrange to have this rectified. Thank you ????

This road has become very dangerous to cross. Children often struggle to cross this busy road either heading to the library or to the park and recreation ground. Cars parked on the road makes visibility impossible unless you step out to look round them. Cars travel too fast for a pedestrian to safely cross. There are no crossings for pedestrians to use anywhere on this stretch. This is an accident waiting to happen. A crossing anywhere on this road between the library and the viaduct is needed to cover both entrances to the recreation ground.
