Damage to signage and tree, 13th October
A hay lorry took out the phone line up the road towards Brent Pelham and then reversed into the bank at the end of our property damaging the chevron sign and knocking over the footpath sign as well as breaking branches in the adjacent tree. The footpath sign may fall and hurt someone whilst the branch is likely to come down in the next strong wind blocking the road and potentially damaging vehicles or property.

Bank erosion and public footpath hazard, 21st August
The bank at the end of our property that adjoins the road is being increasingly 'clipped' and worn away by industrial traffic on the road either misjudging the corner or mounting the bank to avoid a collision. Additionally there is a public safety hazard from this as it is also the entrance to part of the Hertfordshire Way Public Footpath. It would be good to have the situation assessed and for a solution to be discussed before we lose the bank or there is a severe accident.

Trees Encroaching Into Road, 7th May
There are trees and hedges encroaching into the road for a good portion of the road. This is hazardous for larger vehicles that use this bus regularly, forcing them to move to the centre or other lane, on what is quite a fast road which sees speeding often.

This pothole has already caused damage to a vehicle (2 damaged tyres and probably deformed wheels). If a motorcyclist rides down it he/she will probably be thrown off their motorcycle and could be seriously injured or killed. This needs urgent attention. The pothole is approximately 1 metre square and about 200 cm deep. It has been there at least since 27th December 2017

Potholes and boken surface, 12th November
The road at this junction (B1368 and Hare Street Road) has broken up and has been bad for months. Previous repairs were temporary fixes only. The potholes are deep. This is an area of high use from lorries for the nearby quarry and that may be the cause. There are also lots of cyclists and it will only be a while before the potholes cause them injury.

Series of potholes and broken road surface, 26th February
The road at this junction is now in a disgraceful state. The number of large lorries transiting this route to the nearby quarry has contribute to the road surface simply breaking up for a 40 metre section. There are numerous potholes as the tarmac has broken and the hard core is now being progressively removed. Many of the holes are over an inch deep. . It is now simply unsafe. Given the number of recreational cyclists who use these roads at the weekends it will inevitably end in an accident.
