Overgrown milestone, 21st November
Hi Mike Cooper Unable to reply to your email no reply address. You quote in your email 'was unable to locate the hidden milestone' exactly neither could I when I drove past. I had to get out of the car and walk to find it. Is is on the east side of the road a few meters north of the cut maintained grass area were the hedge comes to the edge of the road. It sits back in the hedge about 2 to 2-5 meter from the road edge. the stone is still there honest see attached photo and http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3206634 for photos of the site you can contact me direct on ekeith468@aol.com

Road markings, and lack of signs, 12th November
The road markings have partially been worn away on this bend. There is also a lack of signs warning drivers about the bend. Lorries travelling away from Royston often take the bend too fast, and as a result end up very near to the oncoming traffic.
Nearest road to the pin placed on the map (automatically generated by Bing Maps): Royston

Overgrown milestone, 2nd November
This mile stone is not visible from the road due the hedge and verge being overgrown. This is the only milestone running from Cambridge to Puckerbridge on the B.1368 that is still in place and not visible. All that is required is a small amount of the hedge removed to display this piece of history.
