This footpath has been abandoned by stevenage council since the new estate called aston vale was built and has become overgrown with weeds and dumped rubbish from adjoining properties the footpath runs from the west side of aston vale running behind properties in coopers close to join up with a footpath running between gresley way and tatlers way

Several deep potholes along a 100 yard stretch of road, 10th February
There are several very deep potholes on the left hand side of the road when driving with the garage to your left. They are spread along a 50-100 yard stretch of road and are approx 18 inches from the verge. Several of them are over 12 inches across and approx 6 inches deep. They are far to dangerous to ride through on a bike, forcing riders into the middle of the road. They are probably deep enough to damage cars.

Dangerous path surfaces, 23rd August
Condition of the path surface in a number of areas is hazardous, covered in moss and vegetation matter creating a slip hazard which I have repeatedly contacted HCC to report but they have taken no action to rectify since first raised as an issue in May 2016

Large pothole at least 45cm across, 12th May
The junction of Station Road and Northfield road is on a bend that takes a lot of traffic. A previous pothole has appeared again after a previous fix. It is a danger in particular to motorcyclists but also every car heading from Ashwell to the Mordens will drop a wheel into the pothole
