Numerous pot holes of different sizes some very deep all over mill lane. Difficult to walk on the road due to the damage and amount of gravel all over the road. Can't imagine it's great to drive on either.

Hitchin road and also shawmar drive, 23rd April
The whole way down Hitchin Road there are potholes every couple of seconds. They are mainly in the middle of the road and as cars are parked.either side you are in direct line of all.the pot holes.!! Also.hitchin road/showman.drive there is a big dip.in the road that is also very bad... I have lived here 3 weeks and they were.like this when I moved to the area.

Deep pothole that is progressing. Right at the point that a tyre would pass over on the road. Causing dangers on the road as people swerve into the oncoming traffic to avoid going over the hole.

Missing bollard in the pavement. Now a deep hole. Vehicle had hit the bollard a few weeks ago causing it to break. Scrap van has now been and collected the bollard.

Overgrowing vegetation restricts the available width of the narrow western footway / cycleway in the section northwards from the junction with Bessemer Fields, up to the point where the footway / cycleway diverges from Hitchin Road, on the approach to the A507 roundabout. Cycleway is used by secondary school pupils. (Reference made to coroner comment about a narrow cycleway following a cycle accident on Tuesday 13 July 2010 on the footway / cycleway at A270 Lewes Road, Stanmer, Sussex.)

The location is a wooden light electric pole on Hitchin Road, Arelesey, the pole no. is DP1299 and this pole is directly outside Wood View Lodge, SG15 6SE, 28th March
A single vehicle allegedly collided with this pole, causing some damage to the plastic sheath that covers some wires going up the length of the pole.

Arlesey high street closure, 27th March
You are planning to close arlesey High St from the 29th March cutting of access through the North of arlesey. Can I please point out that rhere are roadworks on wilbury Hill roundabout that severely limits access in and out of arlesey via arlesey new road. This is disgraceful planning by both councils and I expect there to be severe delays and limited access for emergency vehicles during both roadworks. These should definitely NOT have been granted for the same time. I will be taking aggressive action if my route is severely restricted by this. It is also unacceptable that there is no way of contacting you about this issue apart from a contact number for an underpaid, uninformed telephone operator. Your council is a disgrace.
