Road not draining into ditch, 2nd November
The ditch by the sign should prevent this junction from flooding. But the water level in the ditch is clearly lower than on the road so drainage needs clearing.
This is the only way out of Luffenhall after heavy rain - the ford at the other end of the village gets completely flooded.
Also note car on right for depth.

Tree blocking bridleway - fell during recent storms, 3rd March
A tree growing On NHDC land has fallen across a shared bridleway in Great Ashby. This land belongs to NHDC as it has their storm water gulley running along it. It took over a year to resolve who owned this land and in the end NHDC admitted it was theirs. This tree was growing on this NHDC land before it fell during the recent storms. Please arrange a team to cut the tree up and remove the debris from this Bridleway which is also an access to the Water pumping station owned by Thames water. The bridleway is also used by John O'Conner employees and their vehicles to service the Playpark close by. It's also a route for emergency vehicles i.e. Fire Department in case of fires in houses bordering the bridleway. Please deal with this immediately.
