Buses using Bus Stop as Bus Stand, 22nd April
Why are buses using the Bus Stop close to the roundabout at Newcastle Close, Great Ashby, as a Bus Stand. is it because they need to adjust timing for the Bus Timetable. Why has this Stop not been designated a Stand? This is the most dangerous place to have a parked bus, as it's a blind bend leading to a high roundabout. cars heading East speed off the roundabout, so any vehicles trying to get around the parked buses are taking a big risk of head-on collision. Who thinks up these great ideas. Why is a circular bus route become a return bus route. I presume to service Morrisons supermarket at some later time, but it hasn't even been built yet, and there are no signs of anything happening any time soon. Here we have a parked bus, indicator flashing to turn left, engine running, yet driver out of the bus having a cigarette, yet passenger on the bus??? What is going on????

Current works in Lanterns Wood, 20th April
This isn't really a "fix" but more of a suggestion/query: There is currently a lot of work on tree maintenance in Lantern Wood - which is great to see. It appears the wood chippings from the cut down trees are being piled in the car park of Chells Park Pavillion and someone is being paid to take them away. While the work is going on, the woodland path is being severely churned up by the machinery (which is fair enough) but the path has needed some attention for some time so I wondered why, at the end of the works, you don't simply lay the chippings on the path as a natural way of restoring it. It won't last forever but it would be cheaper and far more environmentally friendly than trucking them away. If you don't, can you make sure the path has some degree of repair once the heavy machinery is finished. Thank you

"sink hole" in Chells Park, 20th April
There has been a fairly large depressing in the field next to Chells Park Pavillion for quite some time - possibly 2 years. Relatively recently the Council filled it with soil but, within a month or so, it was back. The depression itself is not a problem but it now smells of raw sewage so I wonder if there is a sewage pipe underneath that has collapsed, which may cause problems in the near future if it's now full of soil. In addition, if sewage is seeping up to the surface (where there is usually a puddle, there is a significant health risk to children that play there. There is also a health risk to dog owners that have to clean their dogs after they've paddled in it. The precise What3Words location is: reds.blackouts.lock

Two trailers are in garages off of Newton Road, they are in terrible conditions and have punctures. I have not seen the owner of these come round in years or move these trailers wouldn’t surprise me if they do not even live in the area.
