Vandalised village sign, 14th September
Some eejit has sprayed "40" over the Great Gransden sign. Twice. It's not a 40MPH area, it's a National Speed Limit area. We now have local residents offering to clean it, but they're putting themselves in great danger doing that on a fast moving road. Please can someone do it, before there's an injury or accident? Thank you.

Report on FixMyStreet
There is a drain cover opposite 101/103 Meadow road which is not quite level with the road surface, on a very busy rat run which includes many, many HGV s and private buses speeding (no speed limits) and when they go over the drain our house shake violently, so much so that we fear they will collapse in the not too distant future, 30th July
This drain cover has been causing problems for a long, long time. The problem is now exacerbated because this road is a rat run for vehicles. There is a proliferation of heavy lorries (hundreds in a day) including container lorries, many more than would be going to the depot on Gransden aerodrome. When these , and all the private buses which pass, go over the drain cover, they cause our houses to shake violently. This is very likely to end in our houses falling down., which would be a big problem for the council and for us, not to mention the danger to life and limb

Several recurring potholes in Doctor's Lane, 11th February
I have reported this problem before but nothing has been done. Rain water runs off Church Street down Doctor's Lane and as it is gravel based, large potholes appear regularly. I and neighbours try to mend the potholes but they keep coming back. A simple low kerb across the top of the lane would redirect the rain water down into the normal road drainage system and when we next repair the potholes (as the council have refused to take action regarding the potholes in the past) the repair will hopefully last a long time.

Pothole with traffic cone., 15th December
At the side of the road someone has helpfully placed a traffic cone to highlight the pothole by the side of the road, however this doesn't stop you hitting the pothole if you are forced into it by oncoming traffic, the road is quite narrow and so is the risk of this happening.
