Blocked drain, 9th April
The drain outside 37 Southill Road, Broom. SG18 9NP overflows and floods the driveway after rain. To our knowledge it has never been suctioned.

Multiple pot holes, 7th March

Big deep jagged pot hole needs filling asap. Is getting worse and worse. Will cause damage to tyres.

Edge of village green, op. Nos 4,6 and 8 High Street Broom, 23rd February
Due to the narrowness of the road with visitors to the village hall parking here, along with delivery drivers, refuse vehicles all stopping along this section of road, it has caused passing cars, lorries, buses and tractors to mount the grass edges. The effect of this over many years and particularly since it has been so wet, has been to squeeze the edges over the tarmac which has considerably narrowed the road and blocked the drains. Remedial measures would be to reinstate the road to its original width and unblock the drains. Please contact me should you need any further information.

B658 between the Shuttleworth and Old Warden Park, Shuttleworth side of the road., 26th January
There is a large pothole at the edge of the road between these two places which looks very deep and dangerours if you were to drive over it. Please can this be repaired.The whole has been there between 2-3 months.

Junction warning sign has been turned off alignment, probably in the wind and is now facing sideways. Needs turning to face correct way.

Junction of B658 and The Crescent, Stanford, 29th December
This has been reported by me before (https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/5078956) and despite requests for updates, and asking Cllr Daniels to chase this up, I have had no response, so am reporting again. The Vehicle Activated Speed sign (VAS) is still not working properly. VAS sign's solar panel obscured by a tree, probably why it is not working. Please remove vegetation so that VAS can charge, then check that VAS is working. Summary of observations: Friday 15th Dec pm, dull day, VAS not working. Saturday 16th Dec am, dull day, VAS not working. Sunday 17th Dec pm, sunny day, VAS working. Monday 18th Dec am, dull day, VAS not working. Tuesday 19th Dec pm, dull day, VAS not working. Thursday 21st Dec am, dull day, VAS not working. Sunday 24th Dec pm, dull day, VAS not working. Tuesday 26th Dec am, sunny day, VAS working. Wednesday 27th Dec am, dull day, VAS not working. Friday 29th Dec am, dull day, VAS not working.

Bridleway crossing B658, 12th December
The speed limit on the section of the B658 where the bridleway crosses from Manor Farm towards Shuttleworth is currently 60mph. The speed limit further along the B658 where the bridleway crosses to the 'old' Shuttleworth entrance is 40mph. Please can the speed limit be reduced where marked on the map. It is incredibly dangerous to cross the road on horseback here. A drop in speed limit will also likely prevent many road traffic collisions at Broom/Southill crossroads.
