Opposite house 330 Hatfield road, 18th March
Drain cover is moving and has broken concrete around it. It has been like this for approximately 1 month and is making a very loud noise when cars drive over it. This is a very busy A road with cars day and night. It may result in an accident if the drain cover flips up. Please can it be fixed. Thank you.

Disgraceful mess, 6th March
Number 24 kingsmead runs a property maintenance company from his house. Continuously blocks pavement for building peoples gates etc. uses power tools all day with leads across pavement. Always has rubbish around and loose screws and nails. He has set his gutter from his shed to discharge water onto the footpath making it dangerous. Fence is partially blocking footpath. Random pieces of wood in unlit alley beside house people keep tripping on. Tried speaking to him but he’s a nightmare. These photos show it in its tidy state. Happy to provide kore if required.

Zebra crossing markings on road barely visible, 4th March
Zebra crossing markings on the road are barely visible whjich means that drivers may fail to see it in good time. This is a busy crossing, used by schoolchildren. It has been previously reported to Hers CC but no action has been taken.

The tarmac is breaking up around the drain cover and there is an island in the middle, so room is in short supply it's been over 2 weeks now and is getting bigger .

Gutter flooding, 23rd February
Since part of road was resurfaced a few months ago, rain water cannot reach drain because new asphalt blocks it. Thus we have huge puddle outside our house which can't drain away. I think we need the gutter lowered at side of road so rainwater can free flow to drain again.

Paving slabs trip hazard, 20th February
Next to the tennis club entrance, there are several wonky paving slabs which when tipped rise about 4 cm above the surrounding pavement. This is dangerous for pedestrians in particularly those with limited vision.

Blocked Drain on the road, 9th February
Hiya, Outside 28 Pinewood Close, the road drain is total blocked and is flooding the road. As car drive past it, it is causing water to splash lnto the payment and other parked cars on the road.

Trees overhanging Coopers Green Lane at Sleeve Hall Wood, 4th January
There are several old trees overhanging the road here and in recent high winds broken branches have come down in the road. We have managed to clear these from the road surface ourselves (we own the wood and live next to it). However we believe the county council has responsibility for trees next to the verge and in the interests of public safety it would be wise to trim trees that are overhanging the road.
