FIXMYSTREET IN AL4 0HS
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of AL4 0HS:
Cut the grass / maintain the trees!, 13th May
The grass is so long, my 3 year old daughter tripped over and really hurt herself, as a large branch disguised in the grass! It’s not been mowed all year. Branches off the trees are scattered everywhere and need picking up. It’s dangerous! Picking up dog waste is really difficult. It looks a mess.

Disgraceful mess, 6th March
Number 24 kingsmead runs a property maintenance company from his house. Continuously blocks pavement for building peoples gates etc. uses power tools all day with leads across pavement. Always has rubbish around and loose screws and nails. He has set his gutter from his shed to discharge water onto the footpath making it dangerous. Fence is partially blocking footpath. Random pieces of wood in unlit alley beside house people keep tripping on. Tried speaking to him but he’s a nightmare. These photos show it in its tidy state. Happy to provide kore if required.

Trees overhanging Coopers Green Lane at Sleeve Hall Wood, 4th January
There are several old trees overhanging the road here and in recent high winds broken branches have come down in the road. We have managed to clear these from the road surface ourselves (we own the wood and live next to it). However we believe the county council has responsibility for trees next to the verge and in the interests of public safety it would be wise to trim trees that are overhanging the road.

Road surface heavily silted and flooded, 4th January
Reported many times over past 10 years. Coopers Green Lane alongside Sleeve Hall Wood is frequently flooded and the banking on north side of road is gradually disintegrating and silting the road. Drains were installed in response to this problem many years ago but these have never been serviced and are completely blocked. We would shovel the silt off the road ourselves but traffic volumes and speed make that too dangerous - I am in my late 70s! Please clear the drains and clear the road of silt before a serious accident occurs

The lights not working, 4th January
The lights have stopped working and it's very dark at the back where the cars are kept. We have a newborn and it's dangerous to go out to the car as its completely pitch black at night. As its gets dark early during this time of year, we have had to buy a permit to park at the front as its unsafe to take the baby there with no lights lights. It's been like this for a a few months now. Plaese can we get this fixed.
